Glotfelty goes perfect...again
Brock Glotfelty earned the male athlete of the week honors after going 6-0 with three pins for the wrestling team this week.
The junior heavyweight improved to 9-0 on the young season with another perfect week on the mat. On Wednesday, he notched a 1-minute, 24-second pin to seal a 22-19 victory over 24th-ranked York (Pa.) in the Green Terror's first dual meet action of the season.
On Saturday, he won his second tournament title of the season, going 5-0 at the Ursinus Fall Brawl.
Glotfelty opened his day with a 5-0 win before notching back-to-back first-period falls. He added a 5-1 win to advance to the championship bout, where he recorded a 9-1 win.
For the season, Glotfelty leads the team with five pins in his nine victories.
