WESTMINSTER, Md. – The 2013 fall athletics schedule will get under way on Friday with a home men’s soccer game against Southern Vermont at 4 p.m. Before that game, though, fans of McDaniel athletics will have a unique preview opportunity.

The athletics department will present an inaugural season preview show. Hosted by Director of Sports Information Luke Stillson, a live video stream will be presented on Wednesday night at 9 p.m. on mcdanielathletics.com that will preview all seven of the Green Terror’s fall sports.

The show will feature athletes from each team who will participate in a roundtable discussion of the upcoming fall sports season. The representatives will share with viewers their experiences from preseason training camp and expectations for the upcoming season. There will be a dialogue among the athletes on the panel, moderated by Stillson.

Fans will also have an opportunity during the approximately 30-minute live show to interact with the event and ask questions of the athletes via Twitter. Fans can submit questions to the official McDaniel Athletics Twitter account @mcdanielsports and/or use the hashtag, #GTfallpreview.

The show will be archived in its entirety courtesy of the department’s new streaming partner, BoxCast. There will also be excerpts cut from the show and posted to each team’s page on mcdanielathletics.com.
