CARLISLE, Pa. – A two-out single in the ninth inning gave Dickinson a 3-2 win over McDaniel in Centennial Conference (CC) baseball action on Sunday.

Jonathan McKinney (Jonestown, Pa./Northern Lebanon) led the Green Terror (18-14, 7-7 CC) with two hits.

Matt Primavera paced the Red Devils (12-21, 3-11 CC) with two hits, including the game-winner.

Steven Haynes singled with one out in the ninth before stealing second.

With two outs, Primavera put a ball into left field that allowed Haynes to score and break the 2-all deadlock.

Haynes led off the bottom of the second with a single before taking second on a sacrifice and scoring on a Primavera double down the left-field line for a 1-0 lead.

A Ben Parker single and stolen base made it a runner at second with one out. A ground ball to the right side allowed him to move the third before scoring on a wild pitch for a 2-0 lead.

Three errors in the seventh inning allowed McKinney to score and make it a 2-1 game.

Cameron Bahr (Southampton, N.J./Seneca) reached on a one-out single in the top of the eighth before giving way to pinch-runner Andrew Hofmeister (Baltimore, Md./McDonogh).

A Pat Christopher (Union Beach, N.J./St. John Vianney) walk put runners at first and second before a two-out error allowed Hofmeister to score with the tying run.

After a pitching change, the Green Terror was caught stealing to end the threat.

McDaniel returns to action at Gettysburg on Tuesday. Game time is 3:30 p.m.
