Cahill named Special Teams Player of the Week
LANCASTER, Pa. – Matt Cahill (Havertown, Pa./Haverford Twp.), a junior on the McDaniel football team, has been named the Centennial Conference (CC) Co-Special Teams Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 15.
Cahill returned a punt 70 yards for the lone touchdown
in a 27-10 loss for the Green Terror (2-8, 1-7 CC) at Johns Hopkins
on Saturday.
He also added a 15-yard reception to the
offense.
For the season, he returned four punts for 89 yards. He
also returned five kickoffs for 76 yards and had 22 catches for a
team-high 295 yards, giving him 460 all-purpose yards.
