Dixon named to womensfieldhockey.com honor roll
WESTMINSTER, Md. – Brooke Dixon (Clayton, Del./Smyrna), a senior captain on the McDaniel field hockey team, has been named to the womensfieldhockey.com Division III Honor Roll for the week ending Sept. 14.
Dixon scored the game-winning goal in overtime of a 2-1 victory at
St. Mary’s (Md.) on Tuesday. On Saturday, she converted both
of her attempts in the penalty-stroke competition to help McDaniel
defeat Washington and Lee by the same 2-1 margin.
For the season, she has two goals and one assist for a team-high
five points.
McDaniel (2-2) returns to action in the Centennial Conference
opener at Franklin & Marshall on Wednesday. Game time is 4:30
p.m.
