Two named second-team All-CC

LANCASTER, Pa. - Two members of the McDaniel field hockey team have been named to the All-Centennial Conference (CC) team, released on Wednesday.

Mandy Pickard (Hampstead, Md./North Carroll) and Stephanie Hammond (Parkton, Md./Hereford) both received second-team honors.

Pickard, a midfielder, led the Green Terror (7-10, 5-5 CC) with 10 goals and 20 points. The senior's goal total ranked tied for sixth in the CC. She had back-to-back two-goal outings at Muhlenberg and at Dickinson.

Hammond, a defender, started all 17 games and was a key member of a defense that allowed 2.29 goals per game.
