Two named to All-CC field hockey team

LANCASTER, Pa. – Two members of the McDaniel field hockey team have been named to the All-Centennial Conference (CC) team, released on Tuesday.

Senior Megan Quattrone (Carlisle, Pa./Carlisle Area) was named to the first team while sophomore Paige Ford (Edgewater, Md./South River) was tabbed second team.

Quattrone, a forward, earned her second All-CC honors after being named honorable mention as a junior. Starting all 16 games in which she appeared, she tallied 12 goals – a total which is third in the conference. She recorded a pair of hat tricks, scoring three times against Eastern Mennonite and Bryn Mawr.

Ford, a goalkeeper, is making her first appearance on the all-conference team. Starting all 16 games in which she appeared, Ford posted a 2.94 goals-against average and .770 save percentage. She tallied double-digit saves in eight games and led the CC with 161 saves.

The Green Terror finished the season with an overall record of 4-13 (2-8 CC).
