Henry named CC Player of the Week
LANCASTER, Pa. – Kevin Henry (Potomac, Md./Bullis School), a sophomore on the McDaniel men’s basketball team, has been named the Centennial Conference (CC) Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 21-23.
Henry led the Green Terror (1-0) to a 100-55 victory in its opener
over Penn State York on Friday. Henry poured in a
career-high 29 points in just 22 minutes of game action, going
11-for-14 from the field and 7-for-8 from the line. He also added
four assists, two rebounds and two steals in the win. The sophomore
had matched his previous scoring high of 17 points by
halftime.
The Green Terror returns to action at St. Mary’s (Md.) in the
opening round of the 2008 Provident Pride of Maryland tournament on
Tuesday. Game time is 7 p.m.
