Ian Frazier paced three players in double figures for the Phoenix (6-4) with 17 points. Keion Adams added 16 points and Willie McDowell chipped in 14.

A McDowell steal-and-layup coupled with a Martez Beckett 3-pointer pushed the lead to nine and forced a timeout with 13:38 showing.

Six straight Green Terror points closed the deficit to 21-17 but a Adams 3-pointers sparked a 9-0 counter that pushed the lead to 13 with 4:33 to play in the opening half.

Sparked by a 3-pointer at the top of the arc as the shot clock was winding down, Austin Cannon (Hampstead, Md./Manchester Valley) put together a personal 7-0 run, closing the deficit to 30-24 and forcing a Phoenix timeout with 2:12 on the clock.

A McDowell three-point play out of a timeout halted the run and McDaniel would get no closer the rest of the way.
