  • Making the grade: 125 student-athletes on Spring Dean’s List

    McDaniel College has announced its Dean’s List from the Spring 2017 semester and 125 Green Terror student-athletes. In addition, four student-athletes were named to the Green and Gold Honor Roll.

    Robert Breed, a senior, has been named to the Intercollegiate Men’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IMLCA) All-Mid-Atlantic region second team.

    Will Kroppe, a senior, has been selected as a member of the South Team and will participate in the 2017 USILA/Nike North/South Senior All-Star Game.
  • Farrell leads conference spring academic honors

    Allison Farrell, a senior on the women’s lacrosse team, was named the Centennial Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year in her sport. Farrell was one of 27 Green Terror spring student-athletes named to the CC Spring Academic Honor Roll.
  • Three earn All-CC men’s lacrosse honors

    Three members of the McDaniel men’s lacrosse team have been named to the All-Centennial Conference team. Will Kroppe and Zack Bicho were named to the second team while Robert Bred earned honorable mention accolades.

    Jakob Katzen led the Green Terror with six saves in relief in the second half. Gettysburg scored the game’s first 12 goals for a 12-2 victory over McDaniel.

    Timothy McNichol led the Green Terror with three goals and two assists, including having a hand in three of the five fourth-quarter goals. Swarthmore withstood McDaniel forcing overtime, scoring 41 seconds into the extra session for a 10-9 victory.

    Timothy McNichol led the Green Terror with three goals and two assists – one of three hat tricks on the day for McDaniel. McDaniel went on a 10-1 run to open up a nine-goal lead after three quarters and defeat Muhlenberg, 19-9.

    Zack Bicho led the Green Terror with a 16-for-22 day on faceoffs, grabbing nine ground balls in the process. Franklin & Marshall jumped out to a 5-0 first-quarter lead before holding on for a 12-10 victory over McDaniel.

    Carson Marshall led the Green Terror with two goals. Ursinus jumped out to a 4-0 lead midway through the first quarter, defeating McDaniel, 13-3.
  • Kroppe records 11 ground balls, seven caused turnovers

    Will Kroppe led the Green Terror with a program-record seven caused turnovers while also matching his career high with 11 ground balls. Washington (Md.) jumped out to a 7-0 halftime team en route to an 11-5 win over McDaniel.

    Bryan Ruygrok led the Green Terror with 12 saves in the cage. No. 7 Dickinson rallied with three of the four fourth-quarter goals to top McDaniel, 9-8.

    Zack Bicho led the Green Terror, going 14-for-15 on faceoffs with eight ground balls. Haverford took a 5-1 lead into halftime before defeating McDaniel, 8-5.

    Timothy McNichol led the Green Terror with two goals on the afternoon. Roanoke took a 5-1 lead after the first quarter en route to a 13-5 victory over McDaniel.
  • Becker scores three in victory

    Troy Becker led the Green Terror with three goals. McDaniel scored five straight goals to rally from an early 2-0 deficit and defeat Wooster, 11-8.
  • Kroppe keys defense with six caused turnovers in win
    March 11, 2017
    Will Kroppe (Wyomissing, Pa./Wyomissing Area) led the Green Terror (4-2) on defense with six caused turnovers and three ground balls. Timothy McNichol (Pittsburgh, Pa./Mount Lebanon) led the attack with four goals on the afternoon. McDaniel scored the first five goals of the game to key a 15-6 victory over Albright in non-conference men’s lacrosse action on Saturday.

    Quinn Lykens led the Green Terror with two goals and two assists. Frostburg scored eight straight goals, holding McDaniel off the board for more than 38 minutes and registering a 10-5 victory.
  • Mutz records first hat trick in victory

    Sam Mutz recorded his first career hat trick to lead the Green Terror while also adding an assist. McDaniel had four players record hat tricks as part of a 22-4 victory over Adrian.
  • Forecast forces changes to lacrosse schedule

    Due to the forecast for afternoon and evening thunderstorms, McDaniel has announced change to its men’s and women’s lacrosse games against Goucher. The women will play on Thursday at 4:30. The men's new date and time are yet to be announced.

    Bryan Ruygrok, a senior, has been named the Centennial Conference Men?s Lacrosse Defensive of the Week for the week of Feb. 20-26.
  • Marshall records hat trick in home win

    Carson Marshall led the Green Terror with three goals on the day and also added an assist. McDaniel scored five of the game’s first six goals to help capture a 9-7 victory over Birmingham-Southern.

  • Lykens tallies five in road victory

    Quinn Lykens recorded five goals to lead the Green Terror. McDaniel opened up a 5-1 lead early in the second quarter, downing Immaculata, 18-4.
  • Hartman opens season with hat trick
    February 18, 2017
    Chase Hartman led the Green Terror with a hat trick in the opener. Stockton scored three times in the third quarter to break a 7-all deadlock at the break and defeat McDaniel, 11-10.
  • Kroppe tabbed Preseason All-American

    Will Kroppe, a senior, has been named a 2017 All-American by the Face-Off Yearbook. A defender, Kroppe was tabbed honorable mention on the preseason list.
