LANCASTER, Pa. – Three members of the McDaniel men's lacrosse team have been named to the All-Centennial Conference (CC) team, released on Tuesday.
Will Kroppe (Wyomissing, Pa./Wyomissing Area) and Zack Bicho (Millstone, N.J./The Hun School of Princeton) were named to the second team while Robert Bred (Medway, Mass./Xaverian Brothers) earned honorable mention accolades.
Kroppe, a senior defender, is making his second straight all-conference appearance after being named first team as a junior. He led the team and conference with 59 caused turnovers. Starting all 16 games, he was also second on the team and fourth in the CC with 63 ground balls. He also contributed a goal against Roanoke on Mar. 18.
Bicho, a senior faceoff specialist, is making his second all-conference appearance after being tabbed honorable mention as a sophomore. Appearing is all 16 games, he won 61.9 percent of his faceoffs, going 159-for-257 at the X. He also led the team and ranks third in the conference with 76 ground balls. Offensively, he had three assists.
Breed, a senior defender, earned his second straight honorable mention nod. Starting all 16 games, he was second on the team with 25 caused turnovers and third on the squad with 43 ground balls. He also added a goal and assist at Haverford on Mar. 25.
The Green Terror finished the season 6-10 overall (1-7 CC).
