Reilly tallies two times

LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall scored the first 14 goals of a 17-3 win over McDaniel in Centennial Conference (CC) men's lacrosse action on Wednesday.

Jackson Reilly (Churchton, Md./Southern) led the Green Terror (6-7, 1-4 CC) with two goals.

Kevin Mollihan led the 11th-ranked Diplomats (9-2, 3-1 CC) with five goals and two assists while Sean Rogers added three goals and six assists.

Luke Keating finished off a Rogers feed with 10:57 to play in the first quarter before Rogers found Mollihan just 46 seconds later for a 2-0 lead.

Mollihan and Rogers each found the back of the net before Rogers hit Ellis Llewellyn with 17 ticks remaining for a 5-0 lead after the first quarter.

Goals from six different players in the second period stretched the lead to 11-0 at the break.

Keating and Mollihan found the back of the net 10 seconds apart for a 13-0 lead with 13:51 to play in the third quarter before Read Ziegler made it a 14-0 lead with 11:47 showing.

Reilly finished a man-up goal just 36 seconds later before scoring again on a solo run with 6:39 on the clock.

Franklin & Marshall tacked on three more before Bryce Brookhart (Ellicott City, Md./Mt. Hebron) finished a solo run with 12:17 to play for the final score.

Zach Shrift (Hershey, Pa./Hershey) led the defense with seven ground balls and seven caused turnovers.

McDaniel returns to action at Muhlenberg on Saturday. Game time is 1 p.m.
