FROSTBURG, Md. – McDaniel tallied a first-half goal before Frostburg forced overtime, forging a 1-all double-overtime draw in non-conference men's soccer action on Wednesday.
Mike McClain (Takoma Park, Md./Montgomery Blair) tallied for the Green Terror (4-6-1) in the 15th minute.
Pablo Torrano kept the undefeated record intact for the Bobcats (9-0-2), scoring in the 86th minute.
McClain finished a pass from Andrew Hofmeister (Baltimore, Md./McDonogh) with 14:52 elapsed in the contest.
With 4:55 to play, Ryan Russell hit Torrano, who finished with the equalizer.
Frostburg finished with an 18-11 advantage in shots, including 3-1 in the two extra 10-minute sessions. The Bobcats also had an 8-1 edge in the first half but McDaniel capitalized on its lone attempt. The Green Terror had the 9-7 advantage in the second half.
Zach Nibbelink (Hampstead, Md./North Carroll) made seven saves in goal for McDaniel while Abiye Jack had two for Frostburg.
The Green Terror returns to action at home against Franklin & Marshall on Saturday. Game time is 1 p.m.
