Nibbelink makes two saves

BRIDGEWATER, Va. – McDaniel finished with a 22-7 advantage over Bridgewater in shots but neither team was able to find the back of the net in a scoreless non-conference men's soccer draw on Tuesday.

Zach Nibbelink (Hampstead, Md./North Carroll) made two saves for the Green Terror (5-0-1) while Kevin Morris led the Eagles (3-3-1) with nine stops.

Edgar Escobar (Silver Spring, Md./Springbrook) had seven shots for McDaniel while Shane McCracken (Marriottsville, Md./Liberty) had six and Luis Calderon (Silver Spring, Md./Bullis) notched five.

Ethan McBryde had three shots for Bridgewater.

McDaniel held a 7-1 advantage in shots during the two extra 10-minute sessions but Morris made four of his stops to preserve the draw.

The Green Terror opens the Centennial Conference schedule at Haverford on Saturday. Game time is 2 p.m.
