CHESTERTOWN, Md. – A pair of goals fewer than 10 minutes apart were the only offense either McDaniel or Washington (Md.) could muster in a 1-all Centennial Conference (CC) men's soccer draw on Saturday.

Zach Nibbelink (Hampstead, Md./North Carroll) made four saves for the Green Terror (6-1-2, 0-1-1 CC) while David Myers led the Shoremen (5-3-1, 0-1-1 CC) with five saves at the other end.

Matt Wilfong found the back of the net, blasting a shot from 20 yards out at the 63:19 mark, staking Washington to a 1-0 lead.

Shane McCracken (Marriottsville, Md./Liberty), however, responded 9 minutes, 27 seconds later when he finished a Luis Calderon (Silver Spring, Md./Bullis) cross into the box.

McDaniel finished with a 16-14 edge in shots, including 3-1 in the final extra period.

The Green Terror returns to action at home against Dickinson on Wednesday. Game time is 4 p.m.
