Prior to that, he spent three seasons as an assistant at Gettysburg during the final seasons of that program’s successful run under 17-year head coach Dave Wright.

He served as an assistant on the staff during the 2000 and 2001 seasons before being elevated to associate head coach during the 2002 season.

While on the Bullet staff, he was primarily responsible for scouting and recruiting in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Reigel earned a bachelors of science degree with a dual major in sports studies and psychology at Towson in 1996. He earned a masters of science degree in exercise science from McDaniel in 2002 and added a second masters degree in teaching a year later.

Reigel is a physical education teacher at Linganore, a position he’s held since 2003. Reigel and his wife Heidi, who was promoted to the director of admissions at the college in May 2009 and played basketball for the Green Terror from 1993-97 and still holds the program’s single-season (83) and career (271) blocked shots record, live in Westminster with their one-year-old son.
