INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Sophomore Brad Brooks (Newark, Del./Charter School of Wilmington) finished 10th in the 1650 freestyle on the final day of the 2014 NCAA Division III men's swimming championship at IU Natatorium on Saturday.
Swimming in the final heat of the morning session, Brooks turned in the second-fastest time entering the top-seeded heat that would open the evening session. Overall, his time of 15:44.66 finished 10th after all eight swimmers in the fast head finished 1-8.
The place earned Brooks honorable mention All-America accolades.
Earlier in the week, Brooks was 20th in the 500 free (4:33.58).
