Washington sweeps McDaniel

CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Brian Danver took his fourth singles match 6-0, 6-0 to complete a two-win day and lead Washington (Md.) to a 9-0 win over McDaniel in Centennial Conference (CC) men’s tennis action on Tuesday.

            Danver teamed with Michal Switala give the Shoremen (10-7, 5-3 CC) an 8-6 win at first doubles. Todd Green and Adam Cranford added an 8-0 victory at second doubles.
            Switala, Green and Crawford all completed two-win day with straight-set wins in singles.
            The Green Terror (4-9, 0-7 CC) returns to action at home against Franklin & Marshall on Thursday. Match time is 3:30 p.m.
