Dickinson sweeps McDaniel

WESTMINSTER, Md. – Ari Blask won twice to lead Dickinson to a 9-0 victory over McDaniel in Centennial Conference (CC) men's tennis action on Tuesday.

Matthew Langsdale (Hampstead, Md./North Carroll) and Brian Kron (Upperco, Md./North Carroll) led the Green Terror (5-5, 0-3 CC), forcing a tiebreaker with Blask and Dixon Blue at third doubles. Blask and Blue took the tiebreaker 7-3 to win the match, 9-8.

The Red Devils (7-3, 3-1 CC) added 8-2 wins in the other two doubles before sweeping singles.

Blask was a 6-1, 6-0 winner at No. 5 while Blue rounded out a 2-0 day with a 6-2, 6-4 victory at fourth singles.

McDaniel returns to action at home against Stevenson on Friday. Match time is 2 p.m.
