WESTMINSTER, Md. – Washington (Md.) won all six singles matches in straight sets to key a 9-0 Centennial Conference (CC) men's tennis victory over McDaniel on Saturday.

Brian Kron (Upperco, Md./North Carroll) won 10 games in his two matches for the Green Terror (4-2, 0-1 CC), teaming with Matthew Langsdale (Hampstead, Md./North Carroll) to drop an 8-4 decision to Marc Cywinski and Vishnu Rajes at second doubles. Rajes downed Kron 6-2, 6-4 in singles.

Kevin Papen led the Shoremen (3-2, 1-0 CC) by not dropping a game in his 2-0 day.

Papen teamed with Aaron Ellison to notch an 8-0 win at first doubles before he took a 6-0, 6-0 decision at first singles.

Seth McFall (Dover, Del./Caesar Rodney) also won six games in singles play for McDaniel, falling 6-4, 6-2 to Dan Boate.

The Green Terror returns to action at home against Goucher on Thursday. Match time is 3 p.m.
