McFall takes second set in singles

WESTMINSTER, Md. – Dickinson swept doubles play, including two by 8-0 scores, en route to a 9-0 win over McDaniel in Centennial Conference (CC) men's tennis action on Tuesday.

Seth McFall (Dover, Del./Caesar Rodney) led the Green Terror (2-7, 0-3 CC), taking the second set of his No. 2 singles match. Ari Blask took the opening set 6-3 before McFall forced a third-set super-tiebreaker, 6-4. Blasak took four of the final five points to win the tiebreaker, 10-6.

Chris Mueller-Wolf led the Red Devils (2-8, 1-2 CC) with a 2-0 day, dropping just one game along the way. He teamed with Will Golinkin to win first doubles 8-0 before taking third singles, 6-1, 6-0.

Golinkin won 6-2, 6-0 at first singles.

Erik Dinardo and Jon Brittin added an 8-0 win at second doubles.

Dinardo capped a 2-0 day, winning 6-3, 6-1 at fourth singles while Brittin won 6-4, 6-1 at fifth singles.

The Green Terror returns to action at home against Juniata on Friday. Match time is 3 p.m.
