Sophomore tabbed as second-team designated player
STARKVILLE, Miss. – Erinne Warrenfeltz (Smithsburg, Md./Middletown), a sophomore on the McDaniel softball team, has been named to the National Fast-Pitch Coaches Association All-East region team, released on Thursday.
Warrenfeltz was named to the second team as the designated player – one of three Centennial Conference (CC) to earn all-region honors.
Warrenfeltz led the Green Terror (16-24, 5-11 CC) with a .385 batting average. She rapped out 45 hits, including team bests of 12 doubles and six home runs. She led the team with 37 RBIs and ranked second on the squad with 28 runs scored. In addition to her .641 slugging percentage, she drew 19 walks and was hit by five pitches for a .483 on-base percentage.
