CARLISLE, Pa. – McDaniel scored three runs in the seventh inning of game two to forge a split with Dickinson in Centennial Conference (CC) softball action on Saturday.

The Red Devils (15-15, 4-8 CC) took game one 3-1 before the Green Terror (18-15-1, 10-4 CC) rallied for a 5-4 victory in the nightcap.

Tori Wilkins (Lutz, Fla./Land O'Lakes) led McDaniel with four hits, including the go-ahead knock in the seventh inning of game two.

Trailing 4-2 with two outs and nobody on in the seventh inning, Payton Lewis (Valrico, Fla./Durant) singled and Tayler Hishon (Fort Lauderdale, Fla./St. Thomas Aquinas) drew a walk.

After Lewis gave way to pinch-runner Alejandra Mata (Miramar, Fla./Cooper City) before Wilkins tripled off the fence to score both runners and tie the game.

Megan Coyle (Las Vegas, Nev./Bishop Gorman) followed with an RBI single to score Wilkins with the go-ahead run.

Kat Parise led off the bottom of the frame with a single before being bunted to second. Back-to-back groundouts to third, including a diving stop by Hishon in the hole, preserved the win and clinched the seventh straight conference playoff spot for McDaniel.

Hishon drew a walk to lead off the fourth before scoring on a one-out Coyle single for a 2-1 lead.

Carly Deichman (Easton, Pa./Freedom) walked with one out in the fifth before singles from Haley Michael (Oldsmar, Fla./East Lake) and Morgan Scardina (Pasadena, Md./Seton Keough) doubled the lead.

A Kristen Acocella singled led off the fifth coupled with a two-out Brigette Gutpelet double and Jessica Epstein single tied the game at 2-all.

An Aciocella double keyed a two-run sixth to make it a 4-2 game.

Cassie Rickrode (Hanover, Pa./Delone Catholic) struck out six and walked none for her ninth win of the year.

Wilkins had three hits in the nightcap while Coyle had two.

Two walks, two singles and three passed balls staked Dickinson 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first of game one.

Gutpelet drew a two-out walk before scoring on an Epstein double for a 3-0 lead in the second.

Michaela Persinger (Emmitsburg, Md./Catoctin) singled with two outs in the fifth before stealing second and scoring on an Alicia Wagner (Bradenton, Fla./Lakewood Ranch) single.

The Green Terror returns to action at home against Stevenson on Sunday. The first game of the doubleheader begins at 1 p.m.
