BRYN MAWR, Pa. – McDaniel built a 21-point lead in the first half en route to a 60-47 Centennial Conference (CC) women's basketball victory over Bryn Mawr on Saturday.
Freshman Lindsey Nichols (Wilmington, Del./St. Mark's) recorded collegiate bests of nine points and eight rebounds for the Green Terror (4-4, 2-3 CC), making her first start. Rachael Rybak (Reisterstown, Md./Franklin) led the way in the scoring column with 10 points.

A basket from Brittney Davis (Laurel, Md./St. Vincent Pallotti) off the opening tip gave McDaniel a lead it never surrendered.
Two Alyssa March (Fallston, Md./Fallston) two minutes stretched the lead to 4-0.
Jackie Handy made it a 6-4 game with two free throws at the 15:20 mark but Rybak responded 42 seconds later with a jumper to spark a 17-2 run over the game's next 4 minutes, 4 seconds.
Allie Eader (Ijamsville, Md./Linganore) led the way with all seven of her points during the burst.
Six straight points capped by a Rybak jumper off one of Eader's six helpers gave the Green Terror its largest first-half lead at 37-16 with 1:49 to play.
March stretched a 39-22 halftime advantage to 19, converting a second-chance basket with 19:06 to play.
The lead swelled to as many as 22 on a Shelby Taylor (Huntingtown, Md./Huntingtown) layup to make it 46-24 with 16:25 remaining.
