ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Muhlenberg closed the first half on a 15-5 run to take a 25-18 lead into the locker room en route to a 66-48 Centennial Conference (CC) women's basketball victory over McDaniel on Saturday.

Another Rybak bucket, however, sparked a 5-0 burst that gave the visitors a five-point lead.

Two Lanza free throws extended the advantage to as large as 25-16 with 2:53 remaining before Stephanie Fish (Brick, N.J./Brick Memorial) scored in the final 10 seconds of the first half to make it a seven-point game at the break.

Wingerd drew the Green Terror within five, converting a putback on the opening possession of the second half but the Mules reeled off 10 straight points to take a 35-20 lead with 16:55 showing.
