McDaniel finishes second at Gettysburg
GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Elyse Massa (Wescosville, Pa./Emmaus) fired a round of 91 to lead McDaniel to a second-place finish at the Gettysburg Fall Invitational in women’s golf action on Monday.
The Green Terror tied the host Bullets with a score of 380 but
Gettysburg was awarded the team title based on the lower score by
the teams’ fifth players. Franklin & Marshall was the
only squad with a team score, posting a round of 402.
Massa’s round of 91 placed fourth in 21-player
field.
Jennie Weiner (Stony Brook, N.Y,/Ward Melville)
tied for fifth, carding a 93.
Nicole Cristy (Towson, Md.) and Val
Saucier (Cockeysville, Md./Dulaney) were part of a
four-way tie for seventh with rounds of 98.
Amy Glock (Lineboro, Md./Hereford) rounded out the
McDaniel competitors with a round of 111.

Pa./Fairfield)
The Green Terror returns to action at the its own invitational on
Oct. 19-20.
