McDaniel wins Muhlenberg Invitational
Green Terror downs variety of conference teams
ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Nicole Cristy (Towson, Md./Bryn Mawr) shot a round of 91 to finish tied for fourth overall and lead McDaniel to a first-place finish at the Muhlenberg Invitational at Lehigh Country Club in women’s golf action on Tuesday.
The Green Terror carded a combined score of 376 to win the five-team event that was comprised solely of teams that will be competing at the Centennial Conference championship on Apr. 24-25.
Anna Bencriscutto (Oro Valley, Ariz./Ironwood Ridge) fired a 93 to tie her low round of the season while Morgan Koopman (Finksburg, Md./McDonogh) carded a 95 to finish eighth overall.
Jennie Weiner (Setauket, N.Y./Ward Melville) shot a 97 while Val Saucier (Cockeysville, Md./Dulaney) posted a 100 to finish ninth and 10th, respectively.
Amy Glock (Lineboro, Md./Hereford) turned in a round of 115 as an individual.
The Green Terror returns to action at the conference championship at Piney Branch Golf Club. Tee time is 12:30 p.m. both days.
