Koopman, McNutt tie for second

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Morgan Koopman (Finksburg, Md./McDonogh) and Alise McNutt (Flourtown, Pa./Mount St. Joseph) each carded a round of 84 to finish tied for second and lead McDaniel to a third-place finish at the second of two-one day tournaments at Barefoot Golf Resort in women's golf action on Wednesday.

The Green Terror combined to post a round of 361 at the exclusive Dye Club Course, improving 24 strokes over Tuesday's finish on the Love Course. Vassar won the event with a score of 347 while Wellesley edged McDaniel with a 360.

Vassar's Aimee Dubois took the top honors with a round of 81.

Bridget McLaughlin (Langhorne, Pa./Wyoming Seminary Upper) finished 11th overall with a round of 96 while Liz Moir (Frederick, Md./Gov. Thomas Johnson) posted a score of 97 to place 12th.

Katie Pass (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) rounded out the Green Terror competitors with a score of 100 to finish 14th.

McDaniel returns to action at the Randolph-Macon Invitational on Saturday and Sunday.
