McNutt finishes fourth

HARRISBURG, Pa. – Alise McNutt (Flourtown, Pa./Mount St. Joseph) posted a two-day score of 179 to finish fourth overall and lead McDaniel to a second-place finish at the 2014 Centennial Conference (CC) women's golf championship at Blue Ridge Country Club on Saturday and Sunday.

As a team, the Green Terror turned in a 36-hole total of 749, firing a round of 379 on Saturday to trail Gettysburg by 18 strokes. McDaniel posted a round of 370 on Sunday but the Bullets turned in a round of 346 to win the tournament by 42 shots after a two-day score of 707.

McNutt posted a round of 90 on Saturday and followed that up with a score of 89 to earn her second all-conference honors.

Katie Pass (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) turned in a team-low round of 85 on Sunday, improving by 11 strokes to finish with a score of 181 in sixth place.

Bridget McLaughlin (Langhorne, Pa./Wyoming Seminary Upper) posted a round of 94 on Saturday and a round of 100 on Sunday to finish 14th with a score of 194.

Casey Marson (Norwich, N.Y./Norwich) turned in a two-day score of 196, posting a 99 on Saturday and a 97 on Sunday to place 15th overall.

Alex Philo (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville Area) finished 18th overall with a 36-hole score of 204 (105-94).
