STEVENS, Pa. – Meg Schlesinger (Frederick, Md./Urbana) posted a two-day score of 172 to finish ninth overall and lead McDaniel to a second-place finish at the 2017 Centennial Conference (CC) women's golf championship on Saturday and Sunday.
The Green Terror turned in a 36-hole score of 709, posting a round of 347 on Sunday after carding a round of 362 on Saturday. Gettysburg won the tournament going away after a tournament-record round of 311 on Sunday. The Bullets fired a then-record round of 327 on Saturday to finish with a score of 638 to win their seventh straight title.
Schlesinger posted a round of 83 on Saturday before carding a round of 89 on Sunday.
Casey Marson (Norwich, N.Y./Norwich) turned in a score of 176 to finished 12th, firing an 85 on Sunday after posting a round of 91 over the first 18 holes.
Kelsey Kirkman (Chesapeake, Va./Norfolk Academy) carded McDaniel's best round of the tournament with a score of 82 on Sunday to finish with a score of 177 and place 14th. She posted a round of 95 on Saturday.
