Four named to All-CC team
LANCASTER, Pa. – Four members of the McDaniel College women’s lacrosse team have been named to the 2009 All-Centennial Conference (CC) team on Thursday.
Junior Brittany Baer (Westminster,
Md./Westminster) and senior Michelle Fluty
(Huntingtown, Md./Calvert) earned first-team honors while
senior Lindsey McDonald (Germantown, Md./Damascus)
and junior Leanne Hollinger (Westminster, Md./Winters
Mill) earned honorable mention nods.
Baer, an attacker, earned her second straight All-CC nod after a
second-team selection in 2008. In 2009, she led the team and CC
with a program-record 76 goals. Her team-leading 88 points ranked

also a program record, in addition to causing 25 turnovers and
picking up 35 ground balls.
Fluty, a defender, was a key member of the defense, causing 13
turnovers and picking up 27 ground balls. She also contributed one
goal to the offense in a 15-1 win over Bryn Mawr.
McDonald, an attacker, paced the team with a program-record 41
assists. She also tallied 19 goals to finish second on the team
with 60 points while adding 20 ground balls and eight caused
turnovers.
Hollinger, a goalkeeper, led the CC with 169 saves and ranked
second with a save percentage of .494. She finished her first full
season as the starting goalkeeper with an 11.90 goals-against
average.
The Green Terror (9-8, 5-4 CC) finished its season with a 19-11
