LANCASTER, Pa. – No. 8 Franklin & Marshall scored the game's first eight goals en route to an 11-1 Centennial Conference (CC) women's lacrosse victory over McDaniel on Saturday.
Monica Parcell (Prospect Park, Pa./Interboro) scored the lone goal for the Green Terror (4-6, 1-3 CC) with 22:18 remaining in the second half.
Lauren Ehrhardt led the Diplomats (8-2, 4-0 CC) with six goals while Mary Mitchell tallied three.
Ehrhardt scored the game's first six goals, staking the hosts to a 4-0 advantage through the game's first 11:51. Ali Kelly had the assist on two of the markers.
Mitchell goals with 8:21 to play in the first half and just 23 seconds into the second half stretched the lead to 6-0.
Two Cat Serpe tallies 1:52 apart pushed the advantage to 8-0 with 24:20 to play before Parcell got McDaniel on the board.
A Mitchell solo run midway through the second half and two Caroline Krohn-to-Ehrhardt tallies in the final 5:48 set the final margin.
Franklin & Marshall finished with a 21-12 advantage in shots.
