GLASSBORO, N.J. – Rowan used a big second half to turn a 6-all halftime deadlock into a 16-10 victory over McDaniel in non-conference women's lacrosse action on Tuesday.

Danielle Entrot (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) led the Green Terror (4-2) with six goals.

Becca Wood paced the Profs (3-3) with seven goals.

After Anna Beaudry (Amherst, Mass./Amherst Regional) gave McDaniel a 7-6 lead on a free-position goal 30 seconds into the second half, Wood countered with an unassisted tally 40 seconds later to ignite a 5-0 run over the next 11:06.

Wood contributed two more tallies during the stretch.

Entrot broke up the run, finishing a Bridget Bopst (Westminster, Md./South Carroll) pass with 18:20 to play before a Marissa Micciche free-position goal and back-to-back Wood tallies made it a 14-8 game with 13:40 to play.

Bopst found Samantha Barbeito (Myersville, Md./Middletown) to make it 14-9 with 10:49 remaining before Barbeito hit Entrot nearly three minutes later to cut the deficit to four.

Micciche converted a free-position shot and then found Caitlin Ravel to set the final margin.

Entrot staked the Green Terror to a 1-0 lead 4:35 into the game before unassisted tallies from Wood, Lauren Callaghan and Brittany Bollendorf gave the hosts a 3-1 lead with 18:48 to play.

Entrot finished a pair of solo runs around a Paige Messersmith (Phoenix, Md./Dulaney) to turn the two-goal deficit into a one-goal lead with 15:23 to play.

Jamie Blondina and Wood gave Rowan a 5-4 edge with 10:45 to play before Monica Parcell (Prospect Park, Pa./Interboro) knotted the game at 5-all off a Julia Jacobs (Stevensville, Md./St. Mary's) assist with 6:19 to play.

Vicky Sucharski and Entrot traded free-position tallies to keep the game deadlocked at the break.

Messersmith added six draw controls and four caused turnovers.

The Green Terror returns to action at home against Susquehanna on Saturday. Game time is 1 p.m.
