CLERMONT, Fla. – Trinity (Conn.), ranked sixth in the latest IWLCA poll, scored seven straight goals to turn a 13-12 edge into a 20-13 victory over McDaniel in non-conference women's lacrosse action on Thursday.

Danielle Entrot (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) led the Green Terror (4-2) with five goals and an assist while Sam Barbeito (Wolfsville, Md./Middletown) added two goals and three assists.

Martha Griffin led the Bantams (5-2) with three goals and four assists.

Goals from Renee Olsen and Molly Cox staked Trinity to a 2-0 lead in the game's first 2:17 before Entrot finished off a feed from Julia Jacobs (Stevensonville, Md./St. Mary's) to cut the deficit in half just 1:26 later.

A Griffin-to-Carline Hayes connection pushed the lead back to two just 13 seconds later before Barbeito and Maggie Quinn (Crofton, Md./Archbishop Spalding) finished solo runs just over three minutes apart to even the game at 3-all.

Back-to-back tallies from Emmma Malicki 24 seconds apart keyed a 5-0 run that put the Bantams in front 8-3 with 11:35 on the first-half clock.

Jacobs converted a free-position attempt to break up a nearly eight-minute scoring drought before Cox and Clare Lyne each hit the back of the net to push the lead to 10-4.

Barbeito then found Mallory Michel (Lititz, Pa./Warwick) to start a four-goal run with 6:46 on the clock.

Allison Farrell (Towson, Md./Loch Raven) converted a free-position shot 23 seconds later before Entrot hit Barbeito directly off the draw 16 seconds after that.

Barbeito returned the favor, hitting Entrot just 30 seconds later to make it a 10-8 game.

Griffin and Entrot traded goals before Kathleen Timmons needed just 12 seconds in a man-up situation to make it a 12-9 game at the break.

Olsen pushed the lead to 13-9 just 38 seconds into the second half before McDaniel put together another three-goal run to close to within one with 19:28 to play.

Monica Parcell (Prospect Park, Pa./Interboro) finished a pass from Karli Zeps (Reisterstown, Md./Seton Keough) to give the freshman her first collegiate point with 28:16 showing.

Entrot and Michel then finished solo urns nearly four minutes apart to make it a one-goal game.

Haynes again struck quickly in a man-up situation, scoring on a free position just after the yellow card was issued to start the game-clinching run with 18:27 on the clock.

Hayes, Nicole Stauffer and Elizabeth Heimann each scored twice during the run.

Entrot set the final margin, scoring off a Barbeito feed with 1:00 remaining.

Zeps added four draw controls while Parcell had three.
