WESTMINSTER, Md. – McDaniel scored four of the final five goals in the first half to take a 5-3 lead into the break en route to a 12-5 victory over Shenandoah in non-conference women's lacrosse action on Tuesday.

Danielle Entrot (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) led the Green Terror (5-2) with three goals and two assists while Sam Barbeito (Wolfsville, Md./Middletown) added three goals and an assist.

Samantha Donaghy and Becky Bove led the Hornets (4-6) with two goals apiece.

Trailing 2-1 after Bove and Donaghy wrapped goals around a Maggie Quinn (Crofton, Md./Archbishop Spalding) unassisted marker, Entrot converted a free-position goal with 4:10 to play in the first half to knot the game at 2-all.

After the slow offensive start by both teams, the Entrot marker jumpstarted the McDaniel attack.

Julia Jacobs (Stevensonville, Md./St. Mary's) finished a free from Bridget Bopst (Westminster, Md./South Carroll) with exactly 2:00 on the clock for a 3-2 advantage.

Barbeito stretched the lead to 4-2 just 18 seconds later off a feed from Allison Farrell (Towson, Md./Loch Raven).

Donaghy closed the deficit to 4-3 on a free-position goal with 1:07 to play before Monica Parcell (Prospect Park, Pa./Interboro) responded with a free-position tally of her own less than 16 seconds later for the 5-3 halftime edge.

Entrot hit Barbeito before scoring off a Quinn feed 3 minutes, 39 seconds later to push the lead to 7-3 with 15:23 to play in the contest.

Sisson hit Bove to close the deficit to three just 15 seconds later.

Entrot completed her hat trick off a Barbeito feed with 13:47 to play before Farrell converted a free-position attempt 63 seconds later.

Entrot hit Bopst in the middle of the field for a 10-4 lead with 8:52 showing before Quinn found Jacobs 39 ticks later.

Barbeito finished a solo run with 5:01 on the clock before Liz Bereit scored on a free-position shot with 2:14 showing for the final margin.

McDaniel finished with a 35-14 advantage in shots and 22-13 edge in ground balls. Parcell controlled three draws while Jacobs added two caused turnovers and six ground balls to her two goals.
