Three earn All-CC women’s lacrosse honors

LANCASTER, Pa. – Three members of the McDaniel women's lacrosse team have been named to the All-Centennial Conference (CC) team, released on Monday.

Danielle Entrot (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) was named to the first team while Lauren McCadden (Bel Air, Md./C. Milton Wright) was tabbed to the second team. Julia Jacobs (Stevensville, Md./St. Mary's) earned honorable mention accolades.

Entrot, a junior attacker, earned her second All-CC honor and first first-team nod after being tabbed second team a year ago. She leads the team with 89 points, ranking second in both goals (55) and assists (34). He goal and point total currently rank third in the conference while her assist total is fourth. With 236 career points, she already ranks second all-time while her 170 career goals is tied for third all-time. Starting all 18 games, she is second on the team with 60 draw controls while adding 24 ground balls and nine caused turnovers.

McCadden, a senior defender, makes her first all-conference appearance after leading the defense. Starting all 18 games, she leads the team with 34 ground balls and 19 caused turnovers while adding 18 draw controls. Her 19 caused turnovers ranks sixth in the conference while her ground ball total ranks eighth.

Jacobs, a junior attacker, earns her first All-CC nod after leading the team with 61 goals, a total which ranks second in the conference. She has also added nine assists to give her 70 points on the year, which ranks third on the team and sixth in the CC. She also has 25 ground balls and nine caused turnovers.

The Green Terror (10-8, 5-4 CC) will await the announcement of the ECAC tournament field later on Monday to see if its season continues.
