WESTMINSTER, Md. – McDaniel will host a 2014 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Mid-Atlantic Region women's lacrosse championship tournament first-round game on Wednesday at Kenneth R. Gill Stadium in Westminster, Md.

The second-seeded Green Terror (10-8) will take on seventh-seeded Alvernia (9-8) on Wednesday at 7 p.m. The winner of that game will face the winner of another first-round game between No. 3 seed St. Joseph's (L.I.) (13-5) and No. 6 Kean (9-8) on Saturday. The winner of the first-round matchup between No. 4 Neumann (12-5) and No. 5 Drew (10-6) will face the winner of final first-round game between top-seeded Lebanon Valley (13-4) and No. 8 SUNY Canton (9-4) in Saturday's other semifinal.

If Lebanon Valley wins its first-round game, the Flying Dutchmen will host the semifinals on Saturday and championship game on Sunday. A SUNY Canton victory coupled with a McDaniel victory would send the three weekend games to Westminster. Game times will be determined once a host is decided.

The Green Terror advanced to the Centennial Conference (CC) semifinals for the first time since 2008. McDaniel defeated Muhlenberg 18-11 in the first-round game before falling to eventual champion Gettysburg, 21-11.
