WESTMINSTER, Md. – Muhlenberg opened the second half with six straight goals to open up a 10-goal lead en route to a 20-10 victory over McDaniel in Centennial Conference (CC) women's lacrosse action on Friday.

Emily Brownawell (Sparks, Md./Oldfields) led the Green Terror (4-8, 0-5 CC) with four goals.

Goals from Fisher and Bonvini 52 seconds apart stretched the lead to 5-1 with 22:38 showing.

An Olivia Geiger (Ellicott City, Md./Marriotts Ridge) free-position tally closed the deficit to 5-2 but the Mules reeled off four straight to open up a 9-2 lead with 16:33 remaining.

Goals from Abby Phillips (New Freedom, Pa./North Harford [Md.]) and Lindsey Farrell (Towson, Md./Loch Raven) just 49 seconds apart trimmed the deficit to five but Eliza Clark found Stephanie D'Ascoli and then finished a Kelsey Nagle pass to counter.

Goals from Brownawell, Megan Quattrone (Carlisle, Pa./Carlisle Area) and Allison Farrell (Towson, Md./Loch Raven) in the final five minutes of the first half made it an 11-7 game at the break.

Two goals and an assist from Fisher keyed the 6-0 run over the first 11:48 of the second half to get the game to a running clock.

Phillips netted her second of the game with 12:09 to play but Nagle went back-to-back to stretch the lead to 11.

Brownawell scored twice around a Bonvini marker, including just before the final horn to set the final margin.

Allison Farrell corralled a career-best 10 draw controls and added three ground balls.
