  • Making the grade: McDaniel places 132 student-athletes on Dean’s List, 11 on Green and Gold Honor Roll

    McDaniel College has announced its Dean’s List from the Spring 2018 semester and 132 Green Terror student-athletes. Eleven Green Terror student-athletes were also named to the department’s Green and Gold Honor Roll this past semester.

    At the annual award ceremonies that McDaniel College holds each spring, 25 Green Terror student-athletes were among the honorees. On Apr. 29, the College recognized more than 30 undergraduate students at the annual Spring Awards Ceremony. On May 18, the College held its annual Senior Investiture and Honors Convocation, where 41 academic and activity/leadership awards were given to graduating seniors.
  • Conference spring academic honors announced

    The Centennial Conference announced its academic honors for the spring sports season and 33 Green Terror athletes were named to the CC Spring Academic Honor Roll. Four athletes also were named to the Academic All-Centennial team.

    Three members of the McDaniel women’s lacrosse team have been named to the All-Centennial Conference team. Lindsey Farrell and Olivia Geiger were named to the second team while Emily Brownawell was tabbed honorable mention.
  • Farrell sets draw record in season-ending victory

    Lindsey Farrell led the Green Terror in the season finale. In addition to being one of three players with a hat trick, she also pulled down 11 draw controls to set a new single-single record. McDaniel scored the game’s first 16 goals in a 19-4 victory over Bryn Mawr.

    Emily Brownawell, a senior, has been named the Eastern College Athletic Conference Division III South Offensive Player of the Week for the week of Apr. 16-22.

    Annemarie Duerr scored a first-half goal for the Green Terror in its penultimate game of the season. Gettysburg scored 11 straight goals as part of a 20-2 victory over McDaniel.
  • Brownawell named CC Offensive Player of the Week

    Emily Brownawell, a senior, has been named the Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the week of Apr. 16-22.
  • Brownawell tallies six, including game-winner, on Senior Day

    Emily Brownawell led the Green Terror with six goals, including the game-winner to cap a back-and-forth affair. McDaniel needed just 30 seconds of overtime to secure a 19-18 victory over Swarthmore.

    Emily Brownawell led the Green Terror with four goals. Franklin & Marshall scored five goals in an 8-minute, 30-span to break open a 10-6 game and defeat McDaniel, 21-11.

    Olivia Geiger led the Green Terror with five of her team’s six goals. Muhlenberg opened up a 6-1 halftime lead en route to a 15-6 victory over McDaniel.

    Olivia Geiger led the Green Terror with six goals and an assists as well as seven draw controls. McDaniel built an 8-2 halftime lead before holding on to top Ursinus, 14-11.
  • Quattrone nets hat trick

    Megan Quattrone recorded her first hat trick of the season for the Green Terror. Dickinson had the final say in a back-and-forth affair, outscoring McDaniel 4-1 over the final 6:53 for a 13-12 victory.

    Lindsey Farrell led the Green Terror with a program-record 13 draw controls to go with two goals. Washington scored 10 straight goals in the second half to open up a 23-11 lead en route to a 24-14 win over McDaniel.

    Olivia Geiger led the Green Terror with four goals and an assist. Haverford scored nine straight goals in the first half as part of a 20-11 victory over McDaniel.

    Emily Brownawell led the Green Terror with six goals and one assist, including her 100th collegiate marker. McDaniel jumped out to a 4-1 lead just 7:15 into the game, defeating Rochester, 15-10.

    Emily Brownawell led the Green Terror with five goals. Montclair scored four goals in a 7-minute, 4-second span to break an 11-all tie en route to a 15-13 win over McDaniel.

    McDaniel has announced that its non-conference women's lacrosse game at Montclair, scheduled for Tuesday, has been postponed to Wednesday.

    Olivia Geiger led the Green Terror with three goals. Albright scored the final 10 goals of the first half to open up an 11-2 lead en route to a 17-9 victory over McDaniel.

    Emily Brownawell led the Green Terror with six goals and one assist, including five of her team’s 10 during that decisive run. McDaniel went on a 10-2 run to overcome a 4-3 deficit and take a seven-goal lead just 26 seconds into the second half, defeating Lynchburg, 16-9.

    Olivia Geiger scored four goals to lead the Green Terror, who had 10 different players register a goal. McDaniel scored the first 12 goals of the game in a 19-3 win over Goucher.

    Emily Brownawell led the Green Terror with four goals and two assists while Lindsey Farrell added a hat trick. St. Mary’s (Md.) put together a 7-1 run in the second half to secure a 19-11 win over McDaniel.

    Megan Kotelchuck led the Green Terror in its opener with three goals and an assist. McDaniel scored six of the game’s final seven goals to overcome a 10-6 deficit and defeat Stevenson, 12-11.

    McDaniel College has announced its Dean’s List from the Fall 2017 semester and 129 Green Terror student-athletes, including 37 first-semester students, qualified for the honors. In addition, six student-athletes were named to the Green and Gold Honor Roll.
