CARLISLE, Pa. – Dickinson had the final say in a back-and-forth affair, outscoring McDaniel 4-1 over the final 6:53 for a 13-12 Centennial Conference (CC) women's lacrosse victory on Wednesday.

Megan Quattrone (Carlisle, Pa./Carlisle Area) recorded her first hat trick of the season for the Green Terror (4-6, 0-3 CC) while Olivia Geiger (Ellicott City, Md./Marriotts Ridge) paced the squad with four goals.

Trailing 11-9 after Quattrone capped her three-goal outing to put the exclamation point on a four-goal run by McDaniel, Sam Marmo netted her first goal of the night to draw the hosts within two with 6:53 to play.

Marmo made it back-to-back tallies just 1 minute, 15 seconds later to knot the score.

Geiger finished a solo run with 2:27 to play, putting her team back on top by one but the Red Devils found the back of the net twice in a 34-second stretch.

Laurie Travaglni drew the game even with 1:59 to play and Marmo capped her own hat trick with the game-winner.

Maddie Parker and Anne Dunster staked Dickinson to a 2-0 lead in the game's first 1:46.

Geiger finished a solo run then Emily Brownawell (Sparks, Md./Oldsfield) converted a free-position goal 30 seconds apart to draw the contest level with 26:36 remaining.

Dickinson, keyed by three of Dunster's goals, scored five of the next six goals to take a 7-3 lead with 13:58 showing.

Goals from Megan Kotelchuck (Crofton, Md./Elizabeth Seton), Geiger and Brownawell trimmed the margin to 7-6 with 5:12 on the clock but Erika Bloes scored with 19 ticks remaining to make it a two-goal game at the break.

Quattrone finished a free-position attempt 1:31 into the second half before Bloes did the same thing just over a minute later to stretch the lead back to two.
