Junior drops pair of matches to seeded opponents to close season

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Brock Glotfelty (Grantsville, Md./Northern Garrett) dropped both of his matches in an attempt to repeat as an All-American at the 2010 NCAA Division III wrestling championships on Friday.

Glotfelty, unseeded at 38-4 entering the championships, dropped a 5-2 decision to the third seed Dan Laurent (Wis.-La Crosse) to drop to the consolation match.

After receiving a bye in the first round of wrestlebacks, Glotfelty fell 4-3 to the fourth seed Allyn Plattner (Luther) to end his season a match shy of All-America status.
