Baer named CC Women’s Soccer Player of the Week
LANCASTER, Pa. – Brittany Baer (Westminster, Md./Westminster), a junior on the McDaniel women’s soccer team, has been named the Centennial Conference (CC) Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 22-28.
Baer led the Green Terror (4-5, 1-1 CC) to its first 2-0 week of
the season, recording three goals and two assists.
On Thursday, she recorded two goals and an assist in a 7-0 win over
Division II Columbia Union before having a hand in both goals of a
2-1 win at Bryn Mawr with one goal and one assist on
Saturday.
For the season, she leads the team in goals (6), assists (4) and
points (16). The 16 points is tops in the conference.
McDaniel returns to action at home against Juniata on Tuesday. Game
time is 4 p.m.
