Bobcats tally five in shutout victory
FROSTBURG, Md. – Adria Graham scored twice to lead Frostburg to a 5-0 victory over McDaniel in non-conference women's soccer action on Tuesday.
Lauren Russell added a pair of assists for the Bobcats (9-1), who finished with a 25-5 advantage in shots and 9-1 advantage in corner kicks.
Jan Woolley (Ephrata, Pa./Ephrata) made eight saves for the Green Terror (2-3-2) in goal.
Cassie Donahue finished the first of Russell's feed at the 10:21 before Russell found Amanda Wharton two minutes later for a 2-0 lead.
The lead stuck until the 68th minute when Erin Ford found Adria Graham.
Ford made it a one-goal, one-assist game at the 84:11 mark, finishing off a feed from Stephanie Mueller.
Graham set the final margin with 2:53 to play off an assist from Kyrsten Buck.
Cara Roig (Bel Air, Md./Bel Air) and Liz Beall (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) each recorded a shot for McDaniel.
The Green Terror returns to action at Swarthmore on Saturday. Game time is 7 p.m.
