COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – For the second straight game, McDaniel and Ursinus both played a double-overtime game. On Saturday, the squads played to a scoreless draw in Centennial Conference (CC) women's soccer action.
Jan Woolley (Ephrata, Pa./Ephrata) made seven saves for the Green Terror (4-4-1, 1-2-1 CC) while Kara DiJoseph had four stops for the Bears (2-5-3, 0-2-3 CC), who finished with a 14-8 advantage in shots.
Ursinus had the only three shots over the two 10-minute extra periods but none were on frame.
Each team finished with three corner kicks.
McDaniel's Kirsten Burks (Edmonds, Wash./Meadowdale) had a shot in the 50th minute that Valerie Bedrock needed to make a save on, preserving the ultimately 110 minutes of scoreless deadlock.
Meghan Sturgill (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) finished with three shots.
The Green Terror returns to action at home against Juniata on Monday. Game time is 4 p.m.
