FROSTBURG, Md. – Frostburg made a single, second-half goal stand for a 1-0 victory over McDaniel in non-conference women's soccer action on Wednesday.

Jan Woolley (Ephrata, Pa./Ephrata) led the Green Terror (6-6-1) with a season-high eight saves in goal.

Dorie Gedridge scored for the Bobcats (9-3-1), blasting a long shot at the 64:06 mark.

Katie Smith made four saves for Frostburg, which finished with a 20-9 advantage in shots. McDaniel held the edge in corner kicks, 4-3.

Julia Pope (Manchester, Md./North Carroll) recorded three shots for the Green Terror.

McDaniel returns to action at home against Swarthmore on Saturday. Game time is 3 p.m.
