LANCASTER, Pa. – Two members of the McDaniel women's soccer team have been named to the All-Centennial Conference (CC) team, released on Tuesday.
Hart, a sophomore defender, moved up to the second team after earning honorable-mention honors as a rookie. She started all 18 games and was a key member of a defensive unit that turned in a 1.58 goal-against average and held an opponent to one or fewer goals on 11 occasions. The 1.58 GAA was the team's best showing since 2006. Hart also added one assist to the offense, tallying her first point in a 3-1 win over Juniata on Oct. 1.
Allen-Gorman, a freshman midfielder, started all 18 games during her rookie campaign. She scored two goals. She is one of just four freshmen to be named to the all-conference team – all of whom were tabbed honorable mentions.
McDaniel finished the season at 7-10-1 overall (2-7-1 CC).
