WESTMINSTER, Md. – McDaniel needed double overtime but escaped with a 1-0 win over Albright in non-conference women's soccer action on Saturday.

Alexis Tunney made 10 saves for the Lions (1-3) in goal.

Gibson took a shot that went off the crossbar and bounced out to Lindsey Farrell (Towson, Md./Loch Raven) on the right side of the box. Farrell collected it and fired a pass across that Gibson headed home for the game's lone goal 3:42 into the second 10-minute extra session.

McDaniel finished with a 19-4 advantage in shots and 6-4 edge in corner kicks.
