McDaniel scored a goal in each half to top Frostburg, 1-0. The Green Terror found the back of the net early in the first half and late in the second half.

Kirsten Gibson (Lancaster, Pa./Penn Manor) scored her first goal of the season.
Maddie Schwartz (Lancaster, Pa./Hempfield) added her first tally of the year.
Katherine Carstensen (Pearl River, N.Y./Pearl River) made five saves.

FOR THE FOES
• Rhianna Lapen made three saves for the Bobcats.

Kirsten Gibson left-footed the ball past a diving keeper just 4:17 into the game for a 1-0 lead.
Maddie Schwartz finished an assist from Kathryn Dixon (New Bern, N.C./New Bern) with 8:14 to play for an insurance goal.

THE INSIDE STORY
Katherine Carstensen registerd her first collegiate shutout with the five-save performance.
• Each team took 12 shots. McDaniel had a 4-2 edge in corner kicks.
• It was the first points of the season for Gibson, Schwartz and Dixon.
