Swarthmore scored 46 seconds into the game and added a pair of second-half goals for a 3-0 win over McDaniel.

THE LEADERS
McKenna Zerbe (Mountville, Pa./Hempfield) made eight saves in goal.
Maddie Schwartz (Lancaster, Pa./Hempfield) and Rachel Engle (Elizabethtown, Pa./Elizabethtown Area) had two shots each.

FOR THE FOES
• Lizzie King scored two times for the Garnet.
• Amy Shmoys stopped all five shots on goal.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• Sydney Covitz collected a loose ball in the box and scored from close range to stake Swarthmore to a 1-0 lead in the first minute.
• Lizzie King finished a Caroline Coats feed in the 53rd minute.
• Nearly six minutes later, King tucked a Marin McCoy pass inside the left post for the final margin.

THE INSIDE STORY
• Swarthmore finished with a 24-6 advantage in shots and 8-0 advantage in corner kicks.
