McDaniel scored twice in a 5-minute, 8-second span midway through the second half to defeat Washington, 2-1.

THE LEADERS
Hannah Schepers (Port Deposit, Md./St. Mark's) scored her first goal for the Green Terror.
Maddie Schwartz (Lancaster, Pa./Hempfield) added her team-leading third for the game-winner.

FOR THE FOES
• Olivia Sabatino scored for the Shorewomen.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• Arianna Sabatino passed the ball to Olivia Sabatino, who finished just 2:21 into the game for a 1-0 Washington lead.
Hannah Schepers headed in a rebound off a Carly Wetzel (Clarksville, Md./River Hill) shot to tie the game at the 61:50 mark.
• Off an Alyssa Johnston (West River, Md./Southern) corner kick in the 67th minute, Maddie Schwartz headed the ball home for a 2-1 lead.

THE INSIDE STORY
• McDaniel finished with a 17-8 advantage in shots.
• Each team had six corner kicks.
• The win was the 13th in a row in the series for the Green Terror.
